JITENDRA JOSHI
Jitendra "Jitu" Joshi has been a sports entrepreneur for past 20 years. Jitu has collaborated with global corporations, sports federations, and government bodies on various sports projects, significantly impacting the field.
He founded and led SportzConsult and Sportz Village, two of India's premier sports management companies. Under his leadership, these companies have created groundbreaking sports intellectual properties, leagues, sponsorship and activation programs, and mass participation sports initiatives.
In recognition of SportzConsult's contributions to sports development, Jitu received the prestigious PRCI Chanakya Award for ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ in 2017.
He frequently shares his expertise by lecturing at esteemed institutions such as the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA), Mudra Institute of Communications Ahmedabad (MICA), Pillai's Institute, Khalsa College, International Institute of Sports Management (IISM), and Jio Institute.
An accomplished triathlete and Ironman competitor, Jitu is also a comedy writer and enjoys playing the tabla.
He holds a bachelor's degree in engineering from Mumbai University and an MBA from Clemson University, USA. Before entering the realm of sports entrepreneurship, he worked for five years with KPMG Consulting in the United States.
