JITENDRA JOSHI
Jitendra "Jitu" Joshi has been a sports entrepreneur for past 20 years. Jitu has collaborated with global corporations, sports federations, and government bodies on various sports projects, significantly impacting the field.
He founded and led SportzConsult and Sportz Village, two of India's premier sports management companies. Under his leadership, these companies have created groundbreaking sports intellectual properties, leagues, sponsorship and activation programs, and mass participation sports initiatives.
In recognition of SportzConsult's contributions to sports development, Jitu received the prestigious PRCI Chanakya Award for ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ in 2017.
He frequently shares his expertise by lecturing at esteemed institutions such as the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA), Mudra Institute of Communications Ahmedabad (MICA), Pillai's Institute, Khalsa College, International Institute of Sports Management (IISM), and Jio Institute.
An accomplished triathlete and Ironman competitor, Jitu is also a comedy writer and enjoys playing the tabla.
He holds a bachelor's degree in engineering from Mumbai University and an MBA from Clemson University, USA. Before entering the realm of sports entrepreneurship, he worked for five years with KPMG Consulting in the United States.

He is the trusted old (dare we say that?) experienced warhorse with multiple projects to his saddle which straddles over two and half decades.
The ‘Senior’ tag comes with a lot of reverence and has immense relevance. He has imbibed a lot of qualities and characteristics from his scientist father which has made him more formidable, feisty and flourishing. He is patience and persistence personified.
One of the earliest exponents to attempt at making India a sporty nation, he has been a major force behind most of India's biggest sports initiatives. It is during this tryst with several brands, governments, sports associations, coaches and academy owners that he learnt the nuances of the overall game. These lessons help him visualize the big picture. Today, he leads multiple projects at 3.O with a resolve to focus and transform the face and fortune of the business.

The larger picture! He has a remarkable anthology of projects that stand testimony to his focus and far-sightedness.
Another facet of his professional success is that he listens carefully to customer’s requirements, concerns and aspirations... banks on his wisdom and dexterity and then goes on to surpass the imagination by coming up trumps in form of the solution.
His vision has spawned a legion of fabulous initiatives. When it comes to Government Projects, he has amassed one accolade after the other by delivering pioneering projects with unpredictable alacrity. His affinity for women empowerment projects is an extension of his belief that – “Preparedness Prevents Plight”. He spearheaded colossal campaigns like- Padkar, Saksham and Tata Tea- Jago Re Suraksha which altogether imparted self-defence training to over 7.5 Lakhs girls and women spreading across Gujrat, Rajasthan, Delhi-NCR, Haryana, Punjab and UP. It was his brainchild to do a pre and post survey for these projects to establish the benefits and outcomes of such projects and later pitched to make it a regular affair rather than a one-off scheme by governments and corporates. He led the team to design and deliver the first ever country wide talent scouting initiative by Reliance Foundation in form of RF Young Champs and later on worked on the elevated project – RF Youth Sports. Just prior to the pandemic, he was at the forefront of the EMA team at Khelo India Youth Games, 2020 Guwahati which happens to be the best edition as yet.
He is bitingly witty and has the flair of breaking the ice without breaking a sweat. His friendly and sociable chemistry across age groups is what works to his advantage. Can’t say if it his chemical engineering degree that helps?? His allure is sweeping and his approach is always balanced.
After having spent two decades in sports marketing, he wants to break the routine and work on something new and exciting in his third epoch in events industry.
He is now entrusted to build and lead the Experiential Marketing and Corporate Sports verticals at 3.O.
