“YESTERDAY, ONCE MORE” 3.O PULLS OF THE ‘LIVE IT’ AGAIN EVENT FOR ALUMNI OF NIT, WARRANGAL

The erstwhile REC Batchmates decided to REConnect and celebrate the silver jubilee…, Team 3 POINT O helped them RECreate the era, RECap the moments, along with a RECreation program.

This assignment was to organise the complete array of activities around silver jubilee get-together and celebrations for NITW 1995 batchmates. We discussed the schedule of activities for the two day event with the organising committee. The first and foremost tasks included designing all the creative elements- Logo for the event, Brochures. E-Invite, Merchandise and Venue Branding. The project involved booking rooms in premium hotels for the 100 odd guests. We made arrangements for receiving the guests at Hyderabad Airport, welcoming them and had ensured a hassle-free travel to Warrangal. On reaching Warrangal, our team took care of a smooth check-in at the hotels. The team had also made the necessary arrangements for local travel/ visit to campus and other memorable locations. On Day- 2, we had oraganised a friendly sport match followed by a Flashback Film Presentation at the college theatre. There was an air of nostalgia, excitement and emotion all over the campus. The same night the friends enjoyed the DJ Musical Program and Dinner. There were umpteen requests to the DJ for their favourite Bollywood and South Indian Songs from that era. The guests thoroughly enjoyed it and hit the dance floor swaying to the music and the years gone by..

We also arranged for the photography and videography so that the guests go back with the moments to linger on as fond memories .. until they reunite once again!

We had internally nicknamed this event “The Warrens Bonding over Buffet” (Warrangal REC Engineers and the Dinner Buffet)

The organising committee was extremely happy with our efforts and not only applauded us but also RECommended us to the next batch for their upcoming event. The scope of work and activities for the 1996 batch was more or less a repeat of the earlier edition with a few more guests. It went off smoother and better than the previous edition.
